More neocon irrelevance

is much better than this:

US relevance on the Korean peninsula is wanning. I think it's only a matter of time before South Korea demands repatriation of their armed forces from US control (yes, the US retains control of the Korean armed forces). In the event of a formal peace, as the two leaders have called for, there is little justification for a continued US presence (40 000 or so troops) on the peninsula and control of the RoK's military, except for strategic interests around China and Russia. Indeed this US presence may prove a stumbling block to a formal end to the war. I don't fancy their chances as the US might gently be described as 'unpopular' among the younger generation of Koreans - the US embassy in Seoul is built like a fortress and appeared to have a permanent cordon of riot police when I saw it.

You can bet the neocons are not happy (teehee). I wonder if John Bolton will call for the inclusion of South Korea in the Fulcrum of Evil or whatever they call it now.
